Privacy policy
PHYSIQ asks you questions about your body and your training, which is personal information. This policy explains plainly what we collect, where it goes, and — just as importantly — where it does not go.
What we collect
Onboarding answers. Your goal, experience, training location, available equipment, days per week, session length, muscle group emphasis, any areas you ask us to train around, whether you want nutrition guidance, your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and optionally your height, weight, dietary preferences and personal goals.
Training data. The sets, reps and loads you log, your completed sessions and your weekly check-ins.
Order information. Your email address, order number and payment status, which come from Shopify. We never see or store your card details.
Basic attribution. If you arrived from an advertisement, the campaign identifiers in the link. These contain no information about you.
Where your answers do NOT go
This is the part most worth reading.
- Your answers are never attached to your Shopify order. They are not in your order confirmation email, not on your receipt, not in order notes, and not in any order export.
- Your answers are never sent to advertising platforms. We do not send height, weight, injuries, health conditions, dietary information or any quiz answer to Meta or anyone else. Advertising events, where used, carry commerce information only — that a product was viewed, a checkout was started, a purchase happened.
- Your answers are not used to target advertising to you.
The only thing that travels from the quiz into your Shopify order is a short-lived, random reference code. It is meaningless on its own, it expires, and it can only be used once. Holding that code does not let anyone read your answers.
How it is protected
Your data is stored in an encrypted database with row-level security, which means a query can only ever return your own rows. Access to your account is granted through a single-use link sent to the email address on your paid order — never on an email match alone.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run the service: Shopify for the store and payments, Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, and an email provider for transactional email. They process data on our instructions only. We do not sell your data, and we never will.
How long we keep it
We keep your program and training history while your account is active, because it is the product you bought. Quiz sessions that never lead to a purchase are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will action it within 30 days. Deleting your data removes your program and training history, which cannot be undone.
Children
PHYSIQ is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
